Masterbatch -- Antiblock -- Talc

Blocking, which is the adhesion of adjoining layers of film, can result from contact under pressure and/or heat and may take place during processing, use or film storage. To minimize or eliminate blocking and anti-block is added to the film. An anti-block is a very finely divided inorganic material like talc. Talc is a high-efficiency anti-block that provides for good clarity and color in film applications.
