Solution Coating
Solution coating is used to place a very thin layer of plastic onto a substrate; often fabric, paper, and electronic devices. A plastic is first dissolved in a suitable solvent, forming the solution with which to coat the substrate. The solution can be applied to the substrate by dipping, spraying, spinning, or other methods. After applying the solution, the solvent is allowed to evaporate, leaving only the plastic coating behind.
